Pricing

Managed IT support, monitoring, security, backup, telecoms or other ongoing services will be governed by the relevant service agreement, support plan, quote or written confirmation.

Service response times, included support, exclusions, escalation routes and cancellation terms may vary depending on the service agreed.

Unless explicitly agreed, support does not include unlimited project work, major system changes, third-party application development, data recovery, cyber incident recovery or work outside normal business hours.

Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate information
  • Ensuring they have authority to request work
  • Maintaining suitable backups unless backup services are provided by us
  • Following reasonable security advice
  • Keeping passwords and access details secure
  • Ensuring users comply with acceptable use and security policies
  • Notifying us promptly of faults, security concerns or changes
  • Providing timely access to systems, premises, accounts and decision makers where needed
  • Ensuring third-party systems, software and licences are legitimate and properly maintained

Remote Access And Onsite Support

Where we provide remote support, you authorise us to access the relevant systems for the purpose of diagnosis, repair, configuration or support.

Where onsite work is required, the customer must provide safe access, suitable working conditions and any necessary permissions.

Additional charges may apply for travel, parking, waiting time, out-of-hours work or repeat visits caused by lack of access or incomplete information.

Web Design And Development

Where we provide website design, development, hosting, SEO, automation or application development, the scope of work will be set out in the relevant proposal or written agreement.

Unless otherwise agreed:

  • Content, images and approvals must be provided by the customer in a timely manner
  • Delays in supplying content or feedback may delay the project
  • Additional changes outside the agreed scope may be chargeable
  • Third-party themes, plugins, APIs, hosting platforms and integrations may be subject to their own terms
  • We are not responsible for third-party platform changes, plugin conflicts or supplier outages outside our control
  • Search engine rankings, lead volumes and advertising results cannot be guaranteed

Domains, Hosting And Email

Where we assist with domains, DNS, hosting or email, the customer remains responsible for ensuring ownership, renewal and access details are kept secure unless we have specifically agreed to manage these services.

We are not responsible for service interruption caused by expired domains, unpaid third-party services, incorrect external changes, registrar issues or provider outages outside our control.

Cyber Security

We may provide cyber security advice, configuration, monitoring, protection tools or consultancy. However, no security service can guarantee complete protection against all threats.

Customers remain responsible for maintaining good security practices, training staff, using strong passwords, enabling multi-factor authentication where recommended and reporting suspicious activity promptly.

Limitation Of Liability

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits or excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Newark Computers shall not be liable for:

We may recommend, resell, configure or integrate third-party services. These services are provided by third parties and may be subject to separate terms, service levels, privacy policies and charges.

We are not responsible for the performance, pricing, availability, security or changes made by third-party providers.
